HUAWEI HONOR 5X Speaker Replacement

Introduction

Is sound not playing through your speakers? You may need to replace it. This guide will show you how to remove and replace the bottom loudspeaker for the Huawei Honor 5x. If other components of the speaker is not functional then this setup may not fix your problem and you might need to contact help to diagnose the issue.

What you need

  1. HUAWEI HONOR 5X Speaker Replacement, HUAWEI HONOR 5X Disassembly: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Turn off your cell phone before disassembling.

    • Remove the two 1.17mm Torx T3 screws from the bottom of the phone.

    • Use the Sim card ejection tool to remove both the sim card trays.

    • To prepare the iOpener insert it in the microwave for 30 seconds and apply it on the side edges of the phone so that the glue underneath will soften.

    • Pry off the back with a plastic opening tool.

    • Remove the six Phillips #000 screws holding the speaker to the device.

    • Remove the speaker
