This guide will show you how to remove and replace the earpiece speaker of the HTC Desire V Smartphone.

Gently pry logic board from the casing by lifting the left side up, as if there was a hinge on the right, folding it over the right edge where you will see a gold/orange ribbon cable. At the top of the phone is the speaker, with two gold coloured connectors. At the right hand side there is a space where using the fine tweezers you can gently pry the speaker from it’s housing.
