Introduction
If the indicator button on the top of the phone illuminates when plugged in to charge but the battery does not hold a charge when unplugged, the battery is likely in need of replacement. This guide shows the step-by-step procedure involved in replacing the battery of the device. The back cover is easily removed using a spudger or the fingertips, allowing easy access to the battery as shown below. Note: do not replace with a third party battery. They have been shown to overheat and damage the device, and are generally unsafe.
