HTC Desire 530 Micro USB Port Replacement

What you need

  1. HTC Desire 530 Micro USB Port Replacement, Micro USB Port: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the four 1.2mm screws in each corner.

    • Use the suction cup and plastic opening tool to pry the screen from the body.

    • Gently pry the battery up at these three spots, and disconnect the power cables attached.

    • You can then fold the battery back like so, and that will give you access to the screw.

    • Use the screwdriver to remove the 1.2 mm screw at the bottom of the phone.

    • Once the screw and the black plastic backing are removed the daughterboard pulls right out.

    • In order to fix the Micro USB Port, the entire daughterboard will need to be replaced because all connections are soldered in.
