Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace the display of Spectre 13’’ (Model: 13-ac023dx). The other model is the HP Spectre x360. This guide will be helpful when the device is damaged and need of repairing. Using this guide will help you step by step on how to fully replace it. Replacing a display is a procedure that requires carefulness and patience in order to repair it. Some special requirements are being ready and patient with yourself. The most common problem that causes anyone to replace a display is a black screen. Reason is because you will need a new screen for your device to function. The skills require for this guide isn't huge you just need to follow the steps. No special skills are required for this operation.

What you need

Lay the laptop flat on the table with the keyboard side facing the table and the motherboard facing up.

Move the metal components that were just unscrewed out of the way to make a clear view of the two display connectors.

Flip up both latches that are found at the center of the computer's body where the wires connect to the motherboard. Then release the wires that attach to the display. This will separate the two main parts of the computer.

I couldn’t remove the display without removing the one speaker. In the pictures, you can easily see that he just bent the metal case at the hinge and pried it out.
