  • Turn on the printer and open up the ink access cover on the front of the printer.

  • Lightly push down on the top of the ink. This should make it come out easily.

  • With the old ink cartridge removed, push the new cartridge in with the key on the cartridge and the color guide on the case.

  • You may have to calibrate the cartridges in some cases. If it wants to do this, let it do it.

  • If the printer does not recognize an ink cartridge, you can try removing and reinstalling the cartridge, and try again. There may be times the cartridge isn't recognized. Reseat the cartridge and try again. If it still fights try cleaning the contacts in the printer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
