The main problem with this repair, is that the keyboard and laptop palmrest/bezel are a sealed unit. You have to remove dozens and dozens of little melted plastic pins to separate the metal keyboard rear plate, and dozens more plastic pins to remove the keyboard from the front bezel itself. And then getting these pins to line up again for assembly is a major PITA. I repair laptops for a living, and I will never try and replace a keyboard on this model again… its just not cost effective. I will seek out the entire keyboard/bezel unit if one of these ever comes to my shop again.

Excellent point and observation, I have one in now for replacement and luckily had one on the shelf for parts, replacing the whole bezel and keyboard is the way to go!
