Introduction
In this guide, you will learn how to replace the RAM in your HP EliteBook x360 830 G7. RAM is the quickest way to access memory storage to your computer. Data is rewritten quickly so it enables computer use. If your computer is running slowly, you may be having RAM issues. This guide will show step by step pictures and explanations on how to replace the RAM.
What you need

Turn the computer over so the back is facing up.

Use a Torx T5 screwdriver to remove the three 9 mm screws from the hinge of the device.

Use a Torx T5 screwdriver to remove the two 7 mm screws from the left and right mid-section of the case.

Lift the backplate from the computer.

Gently lift the larger, rectangular metal shielding off. This shielding covers the RAM.

Push down on the two latches on both sides of the RAM to release it.

This will allow you to remove the RAM and replace it with no issues.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
