HP Deskjet 3522 Ink Cartridge Replacement

Introduction

This step-by-step guide will instruct the user on how to replace the ink cartridge in an HP Deskjet 3522 printer. This guide will provide details on the disassembly of the printer to get to the ink cartridge, how to remove/install the ink cartridge, and finally how to return the printer to working order.

Step 1 Ink Cartridge

Power printer on.
Lift up the lid to the printer using the notch on the right side of the printer to expose the ink cartridges.

Press down gently on the front tab of the ink cartridge that needs replacing and then lift up.

Make sure you have the correct model number of ink that needs to be replaced.
For the HP Deskjet 3522 the required ink is HP 564 (Regular or XL)

Angle the new ink cartridge to the back and slide it into the slot. Press down gently on the head until you hear a soft click.
Close the lid and allow the printer to recalibrate itself.
