Introduction

This guide will help you replace the power and volume buttons on your HP 7 1800.

What you need

Step 1 Remove the back panel

Use a Spudger to open the back panel. Be careful not to break the tabs.

Step 2 Remove the power and volume buttons

The power button and volume buttons are together as a single piece. Gently pull up on one side and then pull up on the other side to remove the buttons from the casing.
