Introduction
Is your device failing to charge or failing to hold a charge? If so, the battery may be faulty and it may be time to replace it. Follow the instructions in this guide to remove and replace the battery in your HP 14-am052nr laptop.

Turn the laptop over to its bottom so that the backside is facing you.

Using your fingers, push the two locking tabs inwards to release the battery.

Remove the battery from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
