What you need

  1.     • Remove the 5mm Phillips #0 screw from the remote control.

    • Using the tab, lift the battery cover from the remote control to expose the battery.

    • Unscrew the six 5mm Phillips #0 screws on the back of the remote

    • Separate the back of the remote from the front panel.

    • During re-assembly, make sure the plastic button covers on the front panel align with the buttons on the back panel. If they do not, the buttons may be forced into an always "pressed" state.

    • Remove the two left and right buttons from their insets in the controller.

    • Remove the 5mm Phillips #0 screw that connects the antennae to the circuit board.

    • Unscrew 5mm Phillips #0 screw located at the bottom of the board in the center.

    • Remove the circuit board from the casing.

    • Make note of where each wire connects to the circuit board for re-assembly as they will be removed in the next step.

    • Using the copper solder wick, remove the solder connecting the nine wires to the circuit board.
