Introduction

This guide will show the steps required to replace the upper cover, in order to replace a damaged cover or to gain access to the netbook’s internal components.

Pry off the keyboard by placing your plastic opening tool on the center of the top row of keys, as shown in the photograph. If the plastic opening tool bends or slips, use something sturdier, such as the Phillips #0 screwdriver. Remove the keyboard.
