  1. Remove the white sticker covering the screws (if applicable)

  2. Insert the plastic opening tool along seam of back case.
    • Insert the plastic opening tool along seam of back case.

    • Gently slide the plastic opening tool along entire seam popping the clips free.

    • Carefully lift the back case and remove smartcard ribbon from motherboard.

    • Remove the ten 3mm screws with a PH00 screwdriver from the shield.

    • Remove the grey docking station port cover

    • Gently slide the plastic opening tool along entire seam popping the clips free.

    • Lift the shield away from the device and remove the fingerprint scanners ribbon from the motherboard.

    • Pull up the cord that connects the battery to the motherboard

    • Use the narrow plastic opening tool to pry the speakers from the casing.

    • Unplug the speaker wires from the motherboard.

Thanks for this guide.

Is the ssd storage card replaceable on the q584.

I want to put a 256gb card internally.

Also, I notice a slot where the 4G /LTE modem goes.

Do you know the part number of that addition.
