• First, determine if the problem is occurring due to water damage. To do that, look at the battery and see if the water indicator (red or blue) has been activated. If so, go to the next step.

  • Then, remove the battery from the phone.

  • Using a blow dryer, blow warm air on both the battery and the remainder of the device for about three minutes.

  • Bring two zip lock bags and fill them with 2 cups of either salt or rice.

  • Put the battery in one of the two bags and put the rest of the device in the other one.

  • Close the bags well so that they are airtight. Then place the bags in a dark dry spot for about a week. Make sure to be patient because the process of evaporating moisture takes a very long time.

  • Wait one week. Retrieve the bags. Open the bags and reconnect the battery with the body of the Motorola Adventure V750. Though the moisture indicator may still say the battery is wet, connect the battery back to the device and continue to turn on the phone.

  • If problem still exists, consider purchasing new battery and installing it with the old device.
