Introduction

Is the device not turning on when plug in? This guide will help you replace the power cord to fix the issue.

  • Use your fingers or a plastic opening tool to open the side hinges on both sides of the device.

  • Using a Philips head #2 screwdriver remove the 7mm black screw from the hinge of the device.

Image 1/2: When the pin is removed the two sides of the device can  now separate. Image 2/2: Be sure to collect the spring that is next to the hinge when they are separated.
  • Using the metal spudger, push through the hole the screw was removed from. Doing this will push the copper pin out of the other side.

  • Use the Phillips Head 1 screwdriver to remove the two screws on the back where the power cable exits the device.
