What you need

  1. Dyson Cinetic Animal Canister Unlocking Mechanism Spring Replacement, Canister Unlocking Mechanism Spring: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • If the top handle does not pop up when trying to remove canister, press the gray button as you gently pull up on the top handle.

    • Locate the spring in the small opening between the handle and ball of the vacuum body.

    • Carefully remove the spring.
