Introduction

The LCD screen is the component of the phone that allows the user to see the oututs from the circuit board once the actions have been converted interally inside the phone from the users input.

  • Use the opening tools to seperate the circuit board from inside of the back case by prying between the circuit board and the case as shown.

  • Using the opening tools pry the LED screen back to give access to the connecting ribbon cable.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device with a new LED screen, follow these instructions in reverse order. Note that you will need to use the soldering iron again to assemble the new LED screen ribbon to the phone.
