Disassembling PlayStation 5 HD Camera Base of the HD camera

What you need

  1. Disassembling PlayStation 5 HD Camera Base of the HD camera, Remove bottom plastic cover: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Starting at the back use a plastic pry tool (spudger) and slide the tool forwards towards the rubber foot.

    • As you slide the tool forwards, the bottom of the plastic base should come away

    • Repeat the process for the other side, again starting at the back. And the plastic base of the camera should come off easily.

    • Pull the rubber foot forwards to release it from the three catches on base of the camera.

    • The metal base and rubber foot are one piece.

    • With the base dissassembled the parts can be more easily modified to accept a 1/4 inch thread for a tripod mount.

    • Slide rubber foot with metal back onto the three platic clips

    • Push the cover on at the back until you hear a click sound

    • Then push the front of the plastic each side to click it into place
