Disassembling HP Officejet J3680 Rear Plastic Panel

What you need

  1. Disassembling HP Officejet J3680 Rear Plastic Panel, Unplug the Device: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the plug from the outlet and from the back of the device

    • Remove the USB Cable from your computer and from the back of the device.

  2. Disassembling HP Officejet J3680 Rear Plastic Panel, Remove Screws From Under the Control Panel: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • Using your Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the screws indicated in the picture. Screws are 13mm in length.

    • Using your Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the screws indicated in the picture. Screws are 13mm in length

  5. Disassembling HP Officejet J3680 Rear Plastic Panel, Remove Screws from Underneath the Phone Panel: step 4, image 1 of 1

    • In step 2, you removed the screw from the blue indicated area.

    • Gently pop off the black cover that the phone rests on. Underneath this cover, you will find two more screws.

    • Using your Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the screws indicated in the picture. Screws are 13mm in length

    • Using your Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the screws indicated in the picture. Screws are 13mm in length.

  7. Disassembling HP Officejet J3680 Rear Plastic Panel, Remove Rear Plastic Panel: step 6, image 1 of 1

    • Once the rear plastic panel has been removed, you are ready to replace and repair the necessary parts.
