Disassembling Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Back Cover

What you need

  1. Disassembling Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Back Cover, Back Cover: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove one 2.25mm screw on the bottom.

  2. Disassembling Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Back Cover: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove two 2.25mm screws on the right side looking from the front.

  3. Disassembling Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Back Cover: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove one 4.7mm screw on the side with the AV output.

  4. Disassembling Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Back Cover: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Pull off the back cover.

    • The back cover tends to stick in the top corner (near the mode dial) due to a metal clip. Jiggle the cover side to side as you pull it out.
