Introduction
After changing the sandpaper, the device inexplicably stopped working. It turned out that dust in the main switch was preventing the contacts from closing.
The defect was fixed by removing and “blowing out” the main switch.
What you need
-
-
Remove sandpaper holder (green)
-
Remove all 10 screws (red) using a PH2 screwdriver
-
-
-
-
Pull off the plug contacts of the switch. This can be pretty tough. A pair of needle-nose pliers can help.
-
-
-
Toggle the switch several times, then blow it out. Ideally, use a pressurized air gun, but blowing on it may also work.
-
If necessary, install a new switch. Unfortunately, we do not currently know of any suppliers.
-
Follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
