Dell Vostro 3561 Memory Module Replacement

In this guide, we will show you how to remove and replace the Memory Module.

What you need

  1. Dell Vostro 3561 Memory Module Replacement, Sliding the Battery Release Latch: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Flip the computer over.

    • Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position.

    • Slide the other battery release latch to the unlock position.

    • Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.

    • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

    • Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.

  6. Dell Vostro 3561 Memory Module Replacement, Removing the Base Cover: step 5, image 1 of 1

    • Lift up the base cover and remove it from the computer.

    • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

  7. Dell Vostro 3561 Memory Module Replacement, Releasing the Memory Module: step 6, image 1 of 1

    • Push apart the memory retention clips to release the memory module.

  8. Dell Vostro 3561 Memory Module Replacement, Removing the Memory Module: step 7, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board.

    • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.
