Dell Studio 1555 Battery Replacement

Introduction

If your battery will not hold a charge you may need to replace it. The battery is located on the underside of the laptop. No tools are required for this guide.

  1. Dell Studio 1555 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Turn off and unplug the laptop.

    • Failure to properly turn off device before handling the battery could result in electrical shock.

    • Flip the laptop so the underside is facing up with the battery closest to you.

    • Slide the locking switch to the left to release the battery.

  3. Dell Studio 1555 Battery Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1

    • Gently pull the battery away from the device.
