Dell Latitude E7450 Hard Drive Replacement

What you need

    • Before performing this task, make sure you turn off the computer and disconnect every external drive from it, whether it's a USB drive, power charger, or wireless adapter.

    • Remove battery and base cover from the computer.

    • Disconnect the computer hard drive’s cable. [1]

    • Loosen and remove the screws that lock the hard drive bracket. [2]

    • Take off the hard drive bracket; this will release the hard drive. [3]

    • Remove the computer’s hard drive.

    • Put the new hard drive in the computer.

    • Put the hard-drive bracket on top of the hard drive.

    • Tighten the screws so that they can lock the computer’s hard drive.

    • Connect the hard-drive cable to the system board connector.

    • Install the battery and base cover.
