What you need

  1. Dell Latitude 3500 IO Board Replacement, Remove screws: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • 10 screws hold the bottom cover in place -- these stay in the bottom cover.

    • Using a spudger will make quick work of this step.

    • Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.

    • Remove the 4 screws holding it in place

    • Battery can now be removed from device.

    • Small latch holding it in place
