  • Loosen one screw.

Image 1/3: Place new chip in at a 30 degree angle. Image 2/3: Push inward until pins can't be seen. Image 3/3: Push RAM down, so it lays flat.
  • Spread out pins on the opposite sides. The chip will spring up at an angle.

  • Place new chip in at a 30 degree angle.

  • Push inward until pins can't be seen.

  • Push RAM down, so it lays flat.

  • Improperly replacing the RAM will cause it to short-circuit.
