  1. Dell Inspiron 17 N7010 Disc Drive Replacement, Remove battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Turn the laptop over, battery side facing you.

    • Move both latches outward, and then pull back on the battery.

    • Remove the single Philips screw securing the disc drive.

    • Pull the disc drive out.
