Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 RAM Replacement

This replacement guide will demonstrate how a user can replace the memory card of a Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 laptop.

What you need

  1. Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 RAM Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • We are removing the battery to avoid the possibility of an electrical discharge when working with this system.

    • Flip device on its back displaying the battery.

    • Place a finger on both latches and push outwards.

    • Grab by the lip and pull upwards to remove battery.

    • Locate RAM compartment on device and corresponding screws.

    • Take your screwdriver and loosen the three 4mm screws to remove the cover.

    • Place both thumbs on the latches and push outward. The RAM card will pop up.
