  2. Remove the screws that secure the battery to the computer base.

  9. Replace the screws that secure the battery to the computer base.

    • Remove the screws that secure the tertiary hard drive assembly to the computer base.

  12. Using the pull-tab, disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board.
    • Using the pull-tab, disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board.

  13. Lift the hard-drive assembly off the computer base.
    • Lift the hard-drive assembly off the computer base.

  14. Disconnect the interposer from the hard drive. Disconnect the interposer from the hard drive.
    • Disconnect the interposer from the hard drive.

  15. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
    • Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.

  16. Lift the hard-drive bracket off the hard drive. Lift the hard-drive bracket off the hard drive.
    • Lift the hard-drive bracket off the hard drive.

  17. Align the screw holes on the NEW hard-drive bracket with the screw holes on the  hard drive.
    • Align the screw holes on the NEW hard-drive bracket with the screw holes on the hard drive.

  18. Replace the screws that secure the  hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
    • Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.

  19. Connect the interposer to the hard drive.
    • Connect the interposer to the hard drive.

  20. Align the screw holes on the hard-drive assembly with the screw holes on the  computer base.
    • Align the screw holes on the hard-drive assembly with the screw holes on the computer base.

  21. Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.
    • Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.

  22. Connect the hard-drive cable to the system board.
    • Connect the hard-drive cable to the system board.
