First, open your Kobo Touch by taking off the back cover. Refer to Kobo Aura HD Screen Replacement.

Then, check if the micro-SD card (2) or the ribbon cable (1) are unplugged.

Reinsert the ribbon cable in its socket so that it appears as shown in the photo.

Reinstall the cover. Make sure the tabs are aligned and check the position of the small holes on the RESET button.

To reassemble your device, follow the instructions in reverse order.
