Cleaning the Skullcandy Mix Master DJ Adjustment Slider

If you are having trouble adjusting the headband on your Skullcandy Mix Master DJ headphones, you may need to simply clean the slider tracks to remove any obstructions. This guide will show you how to that in just four few easy steps.

What you need

Remove the Skullcandy Mix Master DJ Headphones from any casing or protective gear.

Step 2

Rotate the headphones so that one of the speaker cups are facing you. Remove the four Phillips 3 mm screws along the headband cover.

Gently remove the cover from the headband.
Removing the cover too fast could break the thin wire within the headband.

Using a moist Q-tip or small towel, carefully wipe the inside of the headband sheath.
Be careful when cleaning to avoid damaging to the wire.
Do not use cleaning solvents. They may cause the plastic to break down.
