  • Open the battery door by sliding it toward the LCD screen.

  • This will reveal a small screw to the left of the memory card slot.

  • Carefully remove the screw (1.77mm).

  • The bottom panel of the camera will become loose. It is connected to the camera by two wires so do not remove completely.

  • We have oriented the camera with the lens up and the flash toward you for clear visibility.

  • Use a pair of tweezers to gently move the red and black wires away from the lens.

Image 1/3: Use tweezers to pull the orange film strips out of each port. Be sure to do this to all three orange strips. They should come out easily.   • Using tweezers or finger nails to pull up the brown flaps where the three orange film strips meets the circuit board.

  • Use tweezers to pull the orange film strips out of each port. Be sure to do this to all three orange strips. They should come out easily.

  • Pull the circuit board away from the camera.

  • Be careful the circuit board is still attached to the camera by a black film strip.

  • Gently pull off the plastic cover over the LCD screen

  • Gently pull the LCD screen away from the camera. Be careful since the screen is still attached to the camera circuit board.

  • You have now completed the guide to remove the the LCD screen.
