Introduction

This guide will help you reach and replace the inner eyepiece.

Parts

No parts required.

Remove two 4.8 mm black screws on the front of the camera.
  • Remove two 4.8 mm black screws on the front of the camera.

Add Comment

Remove one 4.3 mm black screw under the lens ring and one 4.8 mm black screw on the bottom of the camera.
  • Remove one 4.3 mm black screw under the lens ring and one 4.8 mm black screw on the bottom of the camera.

Add Comment

Remove one 4.8 mm black screw on the left side.
  • Remove one 4.8 mm black screw on the left side.

Add Comment

Remove the front panel by lifting out the side opposite the grip.
  • Remove the front panel by lifting out the side opposite the grip.

Remove outer eyepiece by sliding it upwards.
  • Remove outer eyepiece by sliding it upwards.

Add Comment

Remove two 4.75 mm screws from top of camera.
  • Remove two 4.75 mm screws from top of camera.

Add Comment

Remove four 4.3 mm screws from back of camera.
  • Remove four 4.3 mm screws from back of camera.

Add Comment

Slowly separate top panel from camera by pushing up.
  • Slowly separate top panel from camera by pushing up.

  • Be careful, as top panel is still attached by wiring and ribbon cable to the camera.

Separating the top panel too far can damage the connecting wiring.

Remove two 9.5 mm black screws from back of camera.
  • Remove two 9.5 mm black screws from back of camera.

Remove two 4.3 mm screws from inner eyepiece.
  • Remove two 4.3 mm screws from inner eyepiece.

Inner eyepiece separates into three parts.
  • Inner eyepiece separates into three parts.

  • The outer piece (left) has a small gear which can fall off.

Remove two 3.6 mm black screws from the outer piece to detach glass panel. The glass panel is attached to a small rubber piece which should not be separated.
  • Remove two 3.6 mm black screws from the outer piece to detach glass panel.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
