Use this guide to remove or replace the Campagnolo® Power Torque™ Crank system on your bike.

No parts required.

Remove the spring clip from the drive-side bearing adaptor.
  • Remove the spring clip from the drive-side bearing adaptor.

  • The crank cannot be removed with this clip in place.

  • Remove crank bolt using a 14mm hex wrench.

  • Remove any washers inside the arm.

Slide the plastic molded pad onto the crank. Insert the extension plug in the spindle.
  • Slide the plastic molded pad onto the crank.

  • Insert the extension plug in the spindle.

  • Engage the puller from the CBP-3 bearing puller set.

  • Fit the caliper arms over the molded pad.

  • Align the puller then use the knobs to remove play from the puller fingers.

    • The end of the puller fingers should engage the recess behind the mold.

Place a square of cardboard between the arm and crank to minimize scratching. Insert the extension plug in the arm.

  • Insert the extension plug in the arm.

  • Engage the puller from the CBP-3 bearing puller set.

  • Align the puller then tighten the puller fingers to remove play.

    • The end of the puller fingers should engage the recess behind the mold.

  • Turn the puller handle clockwise to tighten it and pull the arm from the spindle.

  • Remove any seal or wave washer found in the left side.

  • Remove the puller from the crank.

  • Pull crank toward the drive side to remove it from the bike.
