Introduction

In order to switch the stitching styles of your sewing machine, the stitch select knob must be properly functioning. This guide will show the steps for replacement.

No parts required.

Image 1/1: Remove the 14mm Phillips #2 screw holding on the face cover.
  • Place the machine on a solid surface.

  • Remove the 14mm Phillips #2 screw holding on the face cover.

  • Remove the two 14mm Phillips #2 screws and two 22mm Phillips #2 screws that secure the rear casing.

Image 1/1: Remove the four 10mm Phillips #2 screws that hold the bottom panel in place.
  • Lay the machine on its side.

  • Remove the four 10mm Phillips #2 screws that hold the bottom panel in place.

  • The feet will come off with the screws.

  • Remove the bottom panel.

Image 1/1: Remove the rear casing.
  • Place the machine upright.

  • Remove the rear casing.

  • You may have to wiggle the panel and pull at the same time.

  • Adjust the knob to gain access to the phillips head screw.

  • Remove the 14mm Phillips #2 screw.
