Impacts, caused from either being dropped or being transported, can leave the speaker guards on the Bose SoundLink Mini II dented and damaged. This can distort sound and leave the speakers more vulnerable to damage. This guide will demonstrate how to remove and replace these speaker guards to help your device look like new!
No parts required.
Two mesh tabs hold the speaker guard in place on either end.
Use the plastic opening tool to peel away the rubber insert.
Use the metal spudger to lift one of the tabs away from the device.
Carefully peel the mesh speaker guard away from the device.
Remove the mesh tabs from the other side of the device.
To replace the speaker guard, make sure the rubber insert is in place on the back of the mesh guard.
Insert one end of the speaker guard into the frame. Then gently fit the other end of the speaker guard into the frame.
Press firmly on the speaker guard ensuring that it is properly installed.
