  • Press the cover release button on the bottom of your device. Lift and remove the back cover.

  • Remove the six 7.0mm Torx screws securing the rear case to the rest of the phone.

  • Use the plastic opening tool to remove the rear case.

  • Lift out the motherboard assembly using the plastic opening tool, prying at all four sides of the device.

Image 1/1: Using the spudger, push the toggle in from the outside and remove.
  • Locate the volume toggle on the main frame of the phone.

  • Using the spudger, push the toggle in from the outside and remove.

Image 1/1: Make sure the toggle is completely in place by pressing it outward into the frame.
  • Place the new toggle in, using the pointed end of the spudger to attach the toggle to the upper and lower pins.

  • Make sure the toggle is completely in place by pressing it outward into the frame.
