Introduction

Before replacing knobs you will have to disassemble oven to take off the knobs and faceplate.

What you need

Step 1 Knobs

Make sure that the toaster is unplugged before you begin.
Turn the toaster upside down and remove the two Phillips #4 1 cm screws attached to the side panels.

Step 2

Pull down and out to remove side panels from the unit
Repeat for the other side.

Step 3

Remove the bottom vent.
This should come off fairly easy.

Step 4

Remove the two Phillips #4 1 cm screws that connect the bottom panel to the unit.

Step 5

Remove the crumb tray (bottom metal panel) from the toaster unit.

Step 6

Remove the aluminum strip on the bottom of the unit.

Step 7

Remove knobs by pulling up on them.

Step 8

Unhook the bottom of the display panel from the toaster unit.
It will be a little tough to pry off, but don't be afraid to be forceful.

Step 9

Begin to detach the back panel from the toaster unit and unhook the rest of the display panel.
This will also be a little tough to get off, but don't be afraid to be forceful.
