Black and Decker 15.6V Filter Replacement

Introduction

Getting to the air filter of a Black and Decker Dust-buster is fairly simple. It is a tool-less process, that can be completed in a short time. Despite the simplicity of this procedure, it is imperative that a user either replaces or cleans the dust filter regularly. This act of replacing the filter will keep the unit functioning at its max capacity, as well as prevent excess wear on the vacuums components.

What you need

  1. Black and Decker 15.6V Filter Replacement, Filter Unit Replacement: step 1, image 1 of 2 Black and Decker 15.6V Filter Replacement, Filter Unit Replacement: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Disconnect the vacuum's nozzle by pressing the blue buttons on the side of the nozzle.

    • Disconnect the dustbin from the rest of the vacuum by pressing the blue button on the vacuum's handle.

    • Remove the entire dustbin.

    • Empty the bin into a trash can if it has debris.

    • Pull the filter unit out from the bottom of the dustbin.

    • With the filter unit in your hand give the dark grey plastic shroud a quarter clockwise turn and remove the shroud exposing the filter.
