What you need

    • To prepare a new line for your weed whacker, use your utility scissors and cut a piece of line between 30 cm and 50 cm long.

    • Press the buttons on the opposite sides of the trimmer cover and lift it off the head of the trimmer.

    • Remove the spool from the trimmer head.

    • Be careful when removing the spool as the line is still being fed through the access hole.

    • Wrap your line around the spool and make sure you leave 10 cm of the line loose.

    • There are arrows on the spool indicating which direction to wrap the line.

    • Insert the end of the line into the metal hole.

    • Feed about 10 cm of line through the hole.
