    • Remove the gray motor unit by twisting it so that the black triangle moves from the "locked" to the "unlocked" position.

    • Remove the filter from the dirt canister.

    • Separate the cyclone assembly from the dirt tank by twisting the pieces counterclockwise.

    • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the three screws from the bottom of the cyclone assembly.

    • Remove the bottom of the assembly.

    • Twist the clear plastic capsule with the fins counterclockwise to remove it.

    • Twist the blue parts counterclockwise with a good amount of force to remove them.
