  1. Using a T4 Torx Screwdriver, unscrew the screws at the marked locations.

  2. Using your iFixit Opening Tool, carefully slide it between the back panel.

    • Use the platic opening tool to pry the backing of the laptop

    • Remove bottom panel of laptop

    • Remove the screw connecting the speaker component to the motherboard using the screwdriver.

    • Disconnect the sound cable from the motherboard.

    • Using the plastic opening tool, pry the speaker component from the computer.

    It is not mandatory to remove the right speaker (which is under your left hand) but then be careful when you put back the motherboard to leave the speaker’s connector accessible
