  2. Remove the 2 sets of screws highlighted in yellow, There are 2 sets of 2. Then open the laptop to roughly 45 degrees and place it on its side as shown. From this position you can wiggle the dust cover off.  If you are having trouble then open or close the lid a little further. When you have it in the right position it will require no force.   3. First remove the 6 Philips screws marked in yellow then flip the laptop over and you are going to gently pry the hinge cover off. Once loose disconnect the 2 cables marked in yellow attaching it to the motherboard. First remove the 6 Philips screws marked in yellow then flip the laptop over and you are going to gently pry the hinge cover off. Once loose disconnect the 2 cables marked in yellow attaching it to the motherboard.   5. Remove the 12 screws marked yellow, they will be a mix of philips and torx. Do not remove the 4 screws marked red unless you are repasting, they hold the fans in. Now flip the laptop over and open the lid. Use your opening tool to pry apart the seam all the way around as shown until it is loose.   6. Very carefully lift the keyboard from the side closest to the screen while not pulling the attaching cables too tight. Once you have space to reach in, then you can unclip the 4 cables and set the entire keyboard assembly to the side.   7. Push the retaining clip on each side of the RAM module to the left and right away from it. This will release the RAM and it will pop up at a 45 degree angle. You can now slide it out.   8. To make it easier i unhooked the ribbon that runs over the SSD. It unhooks from where the yellow box is. Next take your philips screwdriver and remove the retaining screw from the SSD. Now gently pry up that end to raise the SSD off the sticky pad below it. Once off the pad you can slide it out of its slot. To make it easier i unhooked the ribbon that runs over the SSD.   9. Now that you have that all done you can install your new components and reassemble the laptop in reverse order and you are set. Also clean your fans while the cover is off.
