Introduction

The fan in your laptop is essential in keeping your laptop from overheating. If your device overheats this can cause damage to all internal hardware. If your fan fails, you must first remove the motherboard from your laptop.

Turn off the computer and disconnect the charging cable from the laptop. Push the two locking mechanisms at the top of the laptop outward and pull the battery away from the laptop. This laptop is missing the battery.
