Introduction

In this guide you will learn how to remove and replace the kickstand on the Archos 70b. This is an easy replacement guide, the only difficult part is opening the device.

What you need

Step 1 Back plate

Remove all the tape and plugs to access the screws beneath.

Step 2

Unscrew all 5 of the .3mm t4 screws from the back plate of the device.

Step 3

Gently go around the outside of the back plate and pry the back cover off.

Step 4 Stand

Remove the small blocking between the battery and stand
Push the pin towards the battery until completely free

Step 5

Remove stand
The stand should easily slide out once the pin is removed
