Aqara G2H / G2H-Pro Camera Teardown

Introduction

Go to step 1 ↓

Guide for opening and disassembling the components of an Aqara G2H indoor camera (model CH-H01). It also applies to G2H-Pro cameras (model CH-C01).

2 tips:

  • Read the entire guide before starting, to see (and understand) the disassembly sequence.
  • Work while warm: plastic won't break at 25°C (77°F), but it will at 16°C (61°F). Don't hesitate to warm up the parts before disassembly (1 hour at 20 cm from a radiator, for example; 30°C/86°F is a good temperature for disassembling plastic).
