Introduction

Use this guide to replace the ribbon cable in the Amazon Echo Dot 2nd Generation.

  4. Use the metal spudger to lift the ZIF connector Remove the ribbon cable from the slot Remove the ribbon cable from the slot

  5. Remove the motherboard
    • Remove the motherboard

  6. Remove the silver divider Remove the black rubber divider Remove the plastic white frame

    • Remove the ribbon cable from the slot on the LED/speaker board
