Introduction

This guide is to be used for replacing the front-facing camera of an Acer Iconia W3-810. This is in case of physical damage or water damage to the camera.

  1. Place the tablet  face down on a flat surface with the charger facing toward you.

  2. Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back panel off of the device.

  4. Loosen the retaining flap connected to the front-facing camera by lifting it with a plastic opening tool.

  5. Remove the ribbon cord from its slot by pushing it out with a plastic opening tool.
