Acer Iconia W3-810 Front Facing Camera

Introduction

This guide is to be used for replacing the front-facing camera of an Acer Iconia W3-810. This is in case of physical damage or water damage to the camera.

What you need

  1. Acer Iconia W3-810 Front Facing Camera, Back Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Place the tablet face down on a flat surface with the charger facing toward you.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back panel off of the device.

    • Be careful to not use the plastic opening tool near the charging dock or any media ports.

    • Loosen the retaining flap connected to the front-facing camera by lifting it with a plastic opening tool.

    • Remove the ribbon cord from its slot by pushing it out with a plastic opening tool.

    • Simple replacement for another camera.
