Use the wedge tool to pluck off the keyboard key.

  • If it's just a broken key just pluck the broken key out and take the new replacement key and press it down over the mechanism. If you need to repair the key follow the steps below.

Take both pivoting pieces of the mechanism and put them together. The smaller piece fits through the inner part of the larger piece and lays in the grove of the larger piece.
